Lead Technician

Leah

Leah began working at Pruyn in August 2012 as a part time kennel attendant. By December 2012, she had started working as a technician. She quickly fell in love with the job and decided to dedicate herself to it full time. She worked every shift possible over the next seven years, from days to weekends to grave shifts. She now enjoys spending half her time learning and practicing the management side of the Lead Tech role and spending the other half doing the tech work she loves so much. Leah's professional interests include anesthesiology, dental radiology, emergency and critical care, and, most of all, exotics. Going forward, she hopes to be more involved with the PVH tech training programs and learning everything she can about exotic animal medicine. In her time off, Leah enjoys traveling, arts and crafts, and spending time with her partner Dan and their pet family that includes dogs, cats, and a bearded dragon named “Slim Lizzy."
